Alleged Mistress Of Martin MacNeill Testifies In Court

TV personality Nancy Grace is fired up after the alleged mistress of Dr. Martin MacNeill spoke in court. INSIDE EDITION has the details.

HLN personality Nancy Grace is speaking out about the court case riveting the nation—the facelift murder trial.

Doctor Martin MacNeill is accused of drowning his wife in the bathtub as she recovered from a facelift which she got at his insistence. Prosecutors say he killed her so that he could be with his secret mistress, nursing student Gypsy Willis. He has pled not guilty.

Willis testified in court, "This was a very informal, discreet thing. We were not interested in other people knowing."

Willis said she and the doctor exchanged 22 text messages the day of his wife, Michelle’s funeral.

Grace told INSIDE EDITION, "Do I have to see her in a low-cut top and a push-up bra her entire direct testimony? 22 text messages during the funeral, I am surprised he had time to wave to the coffin as it rolled down the middle of the Mormon temple."

In court, an attorney asked, “Did you go to the funeral?”

Willis replied, “Yes.”

“Did you speak to the defendant at the funeral?," asked the attorney.

She said, "I spoke to him after the funeral and said if there is anything you need, let me know."

Willis told how the doctor stage-managed a meeting in church between her and his family. He has eight children .

She said, "I was supposed to walk up and introduce myself and maybe strike up a small conversation."

MacNeill later hired Willis as a nanny for his younger children.

An attorney in court asked, "You attended a nanny interview, is that correct?"

"Yes," she replied.

"Who conducted that interview?," asked the attorney.

Willis replied, "Martin did and the children were there"

Attorney: “Any question you would be hired as the nanny?”

Willis said, "I don't think Martin would have had me come and help if his children objected strongly to me."

INSIDE EDITION's Paul Boyd asked Grace, "This interview was all a farce, wasn't it?"

Grace said, "The children will testify that all she did was make goo-goo eyes at Martin MacNeill the whole time. She never washed clothes, she never picked up toys, she never cooked supper."
