The generous couple whose story was told in the hit movie The Blind Side talk to INSIDE EDITION about their friendship with Sandra Bullock and their reaction when they heard she had adopted baby Louis.
INSIDE EDTION's Megan Alexander had the chance to sit down with Leigh Anne Tuohy, who was played by Sandra Bullock in the blockbuster movie, The Blind Side. For the first time, Leigh Anne spoke about Bullock's surprise adoption.
"The Blind Side had nothing to do with her adopting Louis. We'll take credit for it though. He's a great kid, beautiful, one of the prettiest little babies you've ever seen," Leigh Anne said.
Both Leigh Anne and Bullock now share a special bond as adoptive mothers.
Leigh Anne also said, "She is a strong-willed woman and thank goodness for it. People are always saying are you giving her advice on how to raise a kid and I said 'Really?' No, no."
The Tuohys have written another book, In a Heartbeat: Sharing the Power of Cheerful Giving. It's inspired by their now-famous story of adopting future NFL star Michael Oher.
"We have kids that go to bed hungry in this country and that don't have a home, don't have a bed. Until all these kids have a home, as long as people look at our story whether it's with Michael or with Louis we're going to keep talking about it," Leigh Anne said of their story.
