Albino Baby Sees Mom Clearly For The First Time
A baby had impaired vision due to a rare medical condition and after she put on her special pair of glasses, she could see her mother for the first time. INSIDE EDITION has the story.
One story will fill your heart with joy. In a video, a precious baby sees her mother clearly for the very first time. Eight-month-old Louise was born with albinism. She has no pigment in her skin and hair and has debilitating sight problems. She was given special prescription glasses to help her see.
The moving moment has now gone viral with over 4.7 million views!
For Louise's mom, Megan McMorris, there's only one song that's appropriate to describe this miracle: Amazing Grace.
INSIDE EDITION spoke to Megan at her home in Denver.
INSIDE EDITION'S Les Trent asked Megan, "What was that like for you to see that she actually recognized you from your voice?"
Megan explained, "When she turned, I just knew immediately she could see me so much better, actually, really see me for the first time."
Because of baby Louise's poor eyesight, her mom said she sings to bond with her.
When she heard "Amazing Grace," baby Louise seemed to be crying and trying to sing along.
"I feel like that's just something special that we have. I can sing to her and it's like the bond we created," Megan said.
When Louise was just one-month-old, her eyes were closed and arms outstretched as she listened to the "Hallelujah" chorus.
But now her eyes are open and she can see.
