Cardi B Deletes Instagram After Posting Rant Against Haters Following Grammys
Fresh off her historic Grammys win, Cardi B is furious because she's been getting a lot of hate online from people saying she doesn't deserve the award.
Fresh after her history-making Grammys win, Cardi B is furious because she's been getting a lot of hate online from people saying she doesn't deserve the award.
On Sunday, Cardi won the prize for Best Rap Album for her debut effort "Invasion of Privacy," beating out male competitors Pusha T, Travis Scott and the late Mac Miller.
But not everyone is pleased. "Someone tell me how cardi b won a Grammy," read just one of many critical tweets.
In response, Cardi went off, posting a fired-up video on Instagram saying in part that she's "sick of this s***."
"I worked hard for my motherf***ing album," she continued. "I f***ing worked my ass off, locked myself in the studio for three months."
Cardi later deleted her Instagram.
Ariana Grande courted some controversy when she posted, then deleted, a series of posts about Miller's loss to Cardi.
"trash," she wrote in one tweet. "literal bulls***," she added in another.
She eventually clarified the posts had nothing to do with Cardi. "good for her. i promise. i’m sorry," Grande wrote.
