Florida Bank Shooting Victim Remembered for Her Smile

Three women were killed side-by-side in the Florida bank shooting Wednesday afternoon. 

Jessica Montague, a mother of three, died on her husband's birthday. Jose Sanchez is a regular customer at the bank where Montague worked, and he spoke to Inside Edition about his friend. 

“She's always happy, always happy. She loved her family and the life she lived,” Sanchez emotionally told Inside Edition. “That smile on her face, you can’t miss that smile on her face because that smile will make you smile. She was totally awesome. Totally awesome.” 

Marisol Lopez was married with two children and loved to travel with her husband.

Bank teller Debra Cook, 54, was also among the five women killed. 

Footage of a SWAT team ramming into the front door of the Suntrust Bank in Sebring, Florida, has emerged. When cops moved in, they found the four bank employees and one female customer dead on the floor.

Moments later, a SWAT team brought out the accused killer, 21-year-old Zephen Xaver. 

Samantha Romney shot the dramatic video and spoke to Inside Edition about what she saw. 

“They were lining up down the road, they had all their guns out. I’ve never seen anything like that and I’ve lived here all my life and I’ve never seen all of that going on,” she said. 

The police chief's voice was filled with emotion as he described the slaughter on Thursday. 

“Zephen Alan Xaver knowingly, intentionally, took the lives of five of our fellow community members, our sisters, our mothers our daughters and our co-workers,” the chief said. 

Xaver appeared in court Thursday and is charged with five counts of first-degree murder.

When he was arrested, Xaver was wearing a shirt emblazoned with the four horsemen of the apocalypse. He spent time in a mental institution when he was a teenager.
