Natalee Holloway's Dad is Back in Aruba Looking for Clues 10 Years Later

10 years after her disappearance, a new witness has come forward and claims he was the last person that saw Natalee Holloway alive.

On the ten-year-anniversary of Natalee Holloway’s disappearance, her father, Dave Holloway, returns to Aruba exclusively with INSIDE EDITION’s Lisa Guerrero to search for answers and follow up on new clues.

A new witness, Jurrien de Jong, has emerged and Dave Holloway is checking out his claims with a private investigator and cadaver dog. INSIDE EDITION spoke with De Jong who said, “I saw Natalee Holloway on the last night she was alive. I was the eyewitness.”

De Jong goes on to say that he witnessed Joran van der Sloot, the main suspect in Natalee’s disappearance, carrying Natalee’s body on the night she disappeared. He states, “I saw that Joran was chasing Natalee into a small building under construction. In about five minutes he came out with Natalee in his arms, and slammed the body of Natalee on the floor, and then he made an opening in a crawl space…I knew she was dead.”

De Jong tells INSIDE EDITION that he did not go to the police at the time because he was involved in illegal activities when he saw van der Sloot with Natalee. He says he decided to come forward years later, after he watched a television report where van der Sloot confessed in an undercover investigation that Natalee was buried at sea, which Dej Jong maintains is a lie based on what he saw that night.

The current prosecutor in Aruba, Eric Olthof, told INSIDE EDITION that he will take another look at the claims made by De Jong. He expects his investigation could take up to two months.

Joran van der Sloot has denied any wrongdoing in connection with Natalee’s disappearance.
