"When you feel like the only kid in town without a Christmas tree, here's the fourth list of people who are Jewish, just like Jesus, Olaf, Punky Brewster, Scott Rudin and me!" Sandler sang at San Diego's Civic Theatre to a cheering crowd.

The audience went wild when they realized the seasonal favorite was getting an update, the official video of the song showed.

Sandler premiered the latest version of the song at the New York Comedy Festival.

"Joseph Gordon-Levitt enjoys eating kugel. So does Stan Lee, Jake Gyllenhaal, and the two guys who founded Google," he sang.

"Adam Levine wears a Jewish star. So does Drake and Seth Rogen. Goldberg has a gold yarmulke to match the belt he won from Hulk Hogan," he continued.

The original version first debuted on Saturday Night Live in 1994 and saw two updates in 1999 and 2002.
