During the so-called "Trial of the Century," INSIDE EDITION talked to Kris Jenner and then-husband Bruce Jenner about their friendship with O.J. Simpson and Nicole Brown.
"I think that this has been a really tough year, a tough 15 months for all of us. Not only have we lost Nicole, we lost O.J., too," Kris told IE.
Kris was pregnant at the time with daughter Kendall, now a famous model.
Kendall's middle name is Nicole, a tribute to Kris' slain friend.
The Kardashians play a big role in the new miniseries "The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story."
Kris Jenner, played by Selma Blair, is seen yelling at her children at Nicole Brown's funeral.
"Khloe! Kourtney! Stop running!" she yells at the girls.
Her ex-husband, Robert Kardashian, was one of the attorneys who defended Simpson after he was accused of the 1994 murders of Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman.
Kardashian, who died from cancer in 2003, is played by David Schwimmer and is seen onscreen trying to talk Simpson out of committing suicide in Kim's childhood bedroom.
"O.J., no, please no, please, this is where my daughter sleeps. O.J., please, do not kill yourself in Kimmy's bedroom," Schwimmer says.
