As online shopping booms, some malls across the country are going to extremes with special attractions in an effort to bring shoppers back to stores.

Some malls have hired the world-famous Radio City Rockettes, while others are offering go-cart racing. There is even glow-in-the-dark golf at some shopping centers.

The King of Prussia Mall outside Philadelphia is one of the largest malls in America, attracting 22 million customers a year.

As hundreds of malls have closed their doors, King of Prussia is thriving with numerous special events.

When Inside Edition visited, there were two separate make-up demonstrations aimed at young women, as well as a fashion show.

At the Mall of America in Minnesota, gymnastics exhibitions draw hundreds of customers.

Visitors to the Galleria Mall in Dallas, Texas, can go ice skating year-round.

In Syracuse, N.Y., at the Destiny USA Mall, the world’s largest suspended rope course has customers testing their bravery high above shoppers below.

The attractions are all aimed at bringing entertainment to the mall to expand foot traffic into their doors.
