Illinois Woman Thanks Cops for Pulling Over Her Husband: 'Next Time, Please Ticket Him'

"The thing is, I have warned him about this previously," the note says.
An Illinois woman showed her gratitude to police for pulling over her husband in a heartfelt thank you note.
"Dear Police," begins the card posted to Facebook Thursday by the Collinsville Police Department, "Thank you for pulling over my husband when he rolled through the stop sign.
"The thing is, I have warned him about this previously," the note continues. "So he’s had had plenty of warnings. Next time, please ticket him. He deserves it."
While this is not the first thank you note the police department has received, it certainly took officers by surprise.
"Thank you Mrs. Anonymous," the department said in the Facebook post. "It made our day."
