Fire Rages Through Brooklyn Church on Easter

About 150 parishioners had to be evacuated from a Brooklyn church during an Easter service. Our Lady of the Rosary of Pompeii was celebrating its 1 p.m. mass when the fire broke out. The New York Fire Department says units responded to the 5-alarm fire and concentrated their hoses on a rectory building that adjoined the sanctuary. One firefighter fell from a second-story down to the first, but according to the department was uninjured.
