Alligators Thaw Out After Being Frozen Underwater

It seems spring has sprung in North Carolina because alligators that were once frozen underwater are surfacing again. Some people went to check on the gators in Shallotte River Swamp Park to see how they fared in the frigid temperatures. Workers say reptiles go into a lethargic state, similar to hibernation in cold weather so they can stay frozen in one area for days.
