An Earwig Invasion Is on the Way Following a Wet Winter Season

Earwigs, pincher bugs, whatever you call them — they’re about to be everywhere. This spring, the insects have been laying low. But as KCBS’ JoyBenedict reports, they’re ready for their close-up. The wet winter is to blame for the invasion, as much of the Southern California  region got over 20 inches of rain. Sure, the critters look creepy. But earwigs are actually harmless.
