Baby Polar Bear Takes Its First Steps Outside

A baby polar bear has taken its first strides inside his new home at a German zoo. The 18-week-old cub left its birthing box at the Gelsenkirchen Zoological Gardens with mom keeping close watch. The little bear has also officially been given the name Nanook, which means "polar bear" in the Inuit language. Nanook pranced playfully around her new home, and even took a dip, before heading back inside.
