Tennessee deputy sheriffs were standing outside of a Knoxville home when a pit bull came around a trailer and began attacking one of the officers. As the dog was biting Officer Lydia Driver's leg, her partner tried to shoot the dog. However, Officer Jordan Hurst accidentally shot Driver instead. Officers ran to her aid and applied a tourniquet to stop the bleeding as she screamed. She was taken to the hospital and underwent emergency surgery. Driver is now recovering from the incident.
