Boyfriend of US Ballerina Held in Russian Prison Speaks Out

The boyfriend of the American ballerina being held captive in Russia is speaking out. Ksenia Karelina’s boyfriend, Chris Van Heerden, says they were on vacation together in Turkey when she visited her family in Russia. When Karelina landed in Russia, Heerden says she was detained at the airport. He believes they found information on her phone that she donated $51.80 to a Ukrainian charity.
