A restaurant busboy is in hot water today after he called in sick to work, claiming he had COVID-19. It turns out, he just wanted the day off, and wasn’t sick at all. He worked at a steak and fish restaurant called Timbers in Ludington, Michigan. The restaurant owner said that when he got the call, he went into full panic mode, sanitizing the restaurant and sending all his employees to the hospital for testing. In total, the stunt racked up costs of $13,000.
