Cold Case Killing of 16-Year-Old Kim Bryant Solved 42 Years Later

The case is closed for a teen found murdered more than 40 years ago. Detectives say they know who is responsible for the death of 16-year-old Kim Bryant, who was kidnapped and sexually assaulted before being killed in 1979. She attended Western High School, where suspect Johnny Blake Peterson did as well. Thanks to a generous donation, investigators sent DNA samples to the lab for testing, which confirmed a match that led to Peterson, who police say is responsible for Bryant's killing.
