Controversial Monuments Honoring Historical Slavery Supporters Removed

In the midst of demanding justice for George Floyd, protesters are also calling for the removal of statues and other memorials of historical figures that supported slavery. In Bristol, England, protesters pulled down a statue of a slave trader, rolled it all the way to the river and dumped it. In Louisville, Kentucky, a statue of a confederate major was removed from a public space and will be placed in the cemetery where he was buried. InsideEdition.com’s Mara Montalbano has more.
