Cops Perform 2 PIT Maneuvers on California Freeway

California Highway Patrol chased a suspect accused of domestic violence and carjacking. Authorities say the Riverside Police Department tried to pull over the suspect at 9:30 p.m., but he refused to stop. A chase ensued across Los Angeles freeways, at times with speeds reaching 100 miles per hour. Officers attempted a PIT maneuver to turn the suspect’s car and bring it to a stop. It took two PIT maneuvers and about an hour and a half to take the suspect into custody.
