A fierce line of severe thunderstorms moved into Houston without warning. People ran for their lives as the wild storm walloped a Houston hotel. Suddenly, the ferocious winds shatter the window. The storm even triggered the hotel’s alarm. Wind gusts of 74 to 78 mph were reported near Houston. The storm left four dead, including a new mom. It also left more than a million residents without power.
