Trump Ordered to Pay $83.3 Million in Defamation Case

Donald Trump was ordered to pay $83.3 million to writer E. Jean Carroll in a New York defamation case. The massive award came after a chaotic day in court. Trump stormed out of the courtroom during closing arguments, by Carroll’s attorney, with his entire Secret Service detail following after him. He then waited in the corridor before dramatically returning to the courtroom to hear his attorney's closing argument.
