In 2001, his mom, Debbie Mathers, spoke to Inside Edition after she filed an $11 million defamation lawsuit against him. Months later, the suit was settled with Eminem for $25,000. She reportedly only saw $1,600 since a judge ruled that $23,354 go to her former attorney.
