How Wildlife Made a Comeback After the BP Oil Spill

A decade ago, the events of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill pulverized the Gulf of Mexico. The oil spill not only affected humans but animals as well, as thousands were killed and many others were covered in the grease. Inside Edition was there as authorities helped clean many of those covered in oil and released them back into the wild. Our cameras also went to shelters to meet with people who wanted to adopt dogs discarded by fisherman who could no longer care for them due to the spill.
