The Pacific island nation has become a hotspot for lavish doomsday bunkers for the elite. This luxury bunker in New Zealand costs more than 8 million dollars and can sleep 50 people. It comes with a movie theater, bowling alley, and even a swimming pool. Gary Lynch, whose company builds luxury bunkers, said they’ve seen a 2000% increase in inquiries recently, driven by COVID-19.
