King Charles III Delivers His 1st Speech as Monarch

Millions of people watched as King Charles III gave a somber address for the first time as monarch. King Charles and his Queen Consort, Camilla, returned to Buckingham Palace in a motorcade. The 73-year-old left his Rolls-Royce to shake hands with the masses gathered outside the palace. The soulful bells of Windsor Castle also tolled for the first time in 70 years while other bells across London joined the solemn chorus.
