Man Reveals He’s a Fugitive Bank Robber on His Deathbed

Ashley Randele's father, Thomas, was dying of lung cancer at the age of 71 when he revealed he once lived under another name. When she demanded to know his real name, he said it was Ted Conrad. In 1969, Conrad stole $219,000 from a bank where he was working as a teller. On the Friday before he turned 20, he simply filled up a bag with cash and walked away, never to be seen again.
