Traffic Reporter Calls Out Body Shamer on Live TV

Right in the middle of a live broadcast, a news reporter called at a viewer who body-shamed her via email. Leslie Horton is a traffic reporter for Global News Calgary in Canada. Last year, she took time off to undergo treatment for endometrial cancer. Horton says the email was meant to intimidate, humiliate, shame her and make her feel bad about her body. “This is what women of my age look like, so if it is offensive to you, that is unfortunate,” she says.
