Robert Card Gets Good Review From Army Prior to Maine Shooting: Report

The man who carried out the deadliest mass shooting in Maine’s history last year reportedly got high praise from his military superiors. The AP reports Robert Card was reviewed on his performance as an Army reservist in April 2023 and was credited with being a “consummate professional” and as having “excelled as a squad leader.” Months later, Card would kill 18 people in a mass shooting at a bowling alley and bar in the city of Lewiston.
