Same-Sex Penguins Welcome Baby Chick After Foster Egg Hatches

This newly hatched penguin chick was born to two doting dads. Magic and Sphen reside at the Sea Life Sydney Aquarium and were given the responsibility of fostering an egg. They already had a successful trial run with a dummy egg provided by their keepers. The expecting dads created a nest from pebbles and took turns keeping it warm, while the other watched for threats.
