Scott Peterson’s Ex-Girlfriend Recalls the Convicted Murderer as “Charming”

Scott Peterson was sentenced to death in the murder of his pregnant wife, Laci Peterson, and their unborn son 15 years ago. Just before the verdict came down in November 2004, Inside Edition spoke with Lauren Putnant, whom Peterson met before he married Laci. Peterson and Putnant worked together at a restaurant and she remembered him as “charming” and “the most driven man I have ever met.” Putnant said Peterson treated her like a queen, and her mother wanted the couple to get married. But the relationship ended when she broke up with him because he was “uptight.”
