​​Who Should Be Getting the New COVID-19 Booster Shot?

There are lots of questions surrounding the new COVID-19 booster shots that are supposed to be widely available now. Thousands of people claim their booster-shot appointments were canceled. In a statement, CVS says "Some payers (insurance companies) are still updating their systems and may not yet be set up to cover the updated COVID-19 vaccines. If this happens, our pharmacy teams can help patients schedule an appointment for a later date."
