Unexploded World War II Bombs Found in Romania

November 5, 2018

A team of excavators in Romania made quite the discovery. They found 14 unexploded bombs that are believed to be from World War II. They were found in the Muresel River canal in the western city of Arad.  As soon as one worker found the first bomb, they stopped digging so a team could come in and examine the area. By nightfall, 13 more were found. The area has been cordoned off so teams could safely bring the bombs to the surface.
