Video Shows Armed Deputy Waiting Outside School During Parkland Shooting: Cops

Surveillance video from the day of the Florida school shooting shows how the armed deputy assigned to protect students reacted. The Broward County Sheriff released the video which he says shows Deputy Scot Peterson waiting outside the school while shots were being fired. Earlier in the video, he is shown trying to enter the school with another adult, then getting in a golf cart to get to another entrance.
