On Palm Sunday, 1984, a Brooklyn family was enjoying snacks and watching TV as a gunman burst into the home and opened fire. He killed 10 people in what was regarded at the time as New York City’s largest mass shooting. Christopher Thomas was convicted of 10 counts of manslaughter, but was released from prison earlier this year. Detectives Bo Dietl and Joe Hall don’t believe justice was served.
