Turns out Joe, who is serving time in prison on fraud charges, was quite supportive, as revealed on Wednesday's episode of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey."
"I’ve been on the fence whether or not I should tell Joe that I’m doing this bikini competition," Teresa said. "I never know how he’s going to react to things, but then a week ago, I did tell him about it. And he just said, ‘I hope you win!’"
His reaction, Teresa said, surprised her and is a sign he's changed while in prison.
"I was kind of shocked,” she said. “I was like, ‘Oh, he is changing in there.’"
Teresa ultimately placed third in the women-over-40 category.
