Kim Kardashian's Selfie Book 'Took A Lot More Time Than Someone Would Imagine'
Alright, Kim Kardashian-West fans you can now have an inside look at the reality star’s life with her highly anticipated selfie book, “Selfish” finally hitting store shelves on Tuesday.
Following the red carpet Met Gala sheer dress stunner on Monday night, Kim Kardashian was back at work promoting her selfie book at the Barnes & Noble in New York City. Fans lined up for hours to get a glimpse of Kim and have them sign her book.
INSIDE EDITION was there and spoke to her about the special someone who first thought that she should publish a book.
“About a year ago my husband came up with the idea. He sees me organizing all my photos all the time and he said, ‘Why don’t you do a book about selfies and call it Selfish,’” she explained. “I thought that was such a clever idea. He introduced me to Rizzoli and we got this great book that we just put together.”
She has been giving fans a sneak peek of what they can expect to see in her book by posting throwback selfie photos on Instagram and the book isn’t just for everyone else, she likes look back on the old selfies as well.
“I’m a really sentimental person so to me every memory comes up when I see the photos and I captioned everything,” she said.
The project didn’t just happen overnight, Kardashian spent the time to write all the captions for the photos.
“It took a lot more time than someone would imagine to just throw together a book of selfies. I really had to put everything in order and figure out exactly where I was and who I was with and what I was doing to write a caption to make you feel like you are part of the moment,” the reality star said.
It’ll be interesting to see what people will think of her book and if another will be in her future!
