David Schwimmer: Kris Jenner Helped Me Prep for Robert Kardashian Role in OJ Simpson Show

Twenty years after OJ Simpson was acquitted of murder, the crime saga is being made into a television melodrama.

Actor Cuba Gooding Junior as OJ Simpson?

The Oscar winner is starring in the FX Network's 10-episode series The People Versus OJ Simpson.

Gooding told INSIDE EDITION, "It's been an emotional rollercoaster, it really has, because we're unearthing everything. All of the facts. We're reliving it moment by moment, day by day."

All of the actors bear striking resemblances to the real-life figures from the trial of the century.

Friends star David Schwimmer plays the late lawyer Robert Kardashian.

Kardashian was married to Kris Jenner, who is being played by Legally Blonde's Selma Blair.

Schwimmer told INSIDE EDITION, "I was very lucky I was able to speak to Kris Jenner for a few hours and she was very generous with her time and really filled me in on who Robert was as a man, as a husband, as a father."

Kris frequently attended the 1995 trial with her second husband, Bruce Jenner.

The late lawyer Johnnie Cochran is played by Courtney B. Vance.

Vance told INSIDE EDITION, "Re-examining it will allow all of us to actually step back from the racial issue and just look at it."

And none other than John Travolta plays Robert Shapiro another legal eagle on Simpson's so-called 'dream team.'

As for the prosecution, Marcia Clark is played by Sarah Paulson.

She told INSIDE EDITION, "I don't want to do wrong by her, you know, because she was a maligned character in this story when really she was a woman in a man's world."

So, are the cast members forming opinions about Simpson's guilt or innocence?

Gooding added, "When you play a character based on real-life facts you have to form an opinion. But, I'm not going to tell anybody. I think it's more interesting for you to watch my performance and go 'Oh, Cuba thinks -oh well maybe he doesn't.' I think that's the journey everyone wants to go on."
