Taylor Swift Reigned Supreme While Kanye Gets Censored at Billboard Music Awards
Taylor Swift reigned at the Billboard Music Awards taking home eight awards including Top Artist.
She proclaimed on stage, "This is such a good night!"
Swift went public with her new boyfriend, superstar DJ Calvin Harris, giving him hugs and kisses each time she won.
The night of Taylor Swift started with the debut of her new music video, “Bad Blood,” opening the show. It costars just about everyone! Selena Gomez, Lena Dunham, Jessica Alba, and even Cindy Crawford, all appear in the video, which immediately went viral.
It was not such a good night for Kendall and Kylie Jenner, who were booed when they appeared on stage. They were on-hand to introduce a performance by their brother-in-law Kanye West.
Audiences at home were not experiencing technical difficulties. Censors beeped Kanye so frequently that it was hard to hear a lot of his performance.
Skin was definitely in on the red carpet in Las Vegas, with many stars wearing sheer or cut out dresses including Mariah Carey.
Mariah gave producers a scare when she reportedly didn't show up for her final dress rehearsal. When she finally took the stage some felt that she didn't hit her famous high notes.
Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea got the crowd worked up performing their new hit song “Pretty Girls.”
But there's no doubt, the night belonged to Taylor Swift, with a new boyfriend, a new video, and a bunch of new awards for the mantle.
