Sarah’s grandmother and her dad had been in a car accident on their way to the reception in Clarksville, Tennessee, so Sarah - a paramedic - sprang into action, while still wearing her wedding dress.

"We didn't know who had what injuries,” she told INSIDE EDITION.

She headed straight to the scene and while there, her mom snapped a photo that has since gone viral.

Sarah said: "Any other responder that had come across a wreck whether it was their family or not would have stopped to make sure everyone was okay."

Fortunately, no one was seriously injured and Sarah's grandmother gave her blessings to proceed with the reception. Her dad managed to get to the reception to fulfill his duties as father of the bride.

"We were still able to have our father daughter dance," he said.
