Trevor Noah Undergoes Emergency Surgery, 'Daily Show' Episode Canceled

'Daily Show' host Trevor Noah was rushed to the hospital to have emergency surgery.

Daily Show host Trevor Noah underwent emergency appendectomy surgery on Wednesday but is reportedly recovering well in a hospital.

Comedy Central tweeted the news and said that the 31-year-old South African comic will not record the show this evening but will return on Thursday.

Noah took over from long time host Jon Stewart in September and is the latest talk show host to need hospital attention.

Just last month, Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon fell and cut his hand on a liquor bottle while being honored at Harvard University.
