Beyonce Almost Fell During The Halftime Show But Recovered Like a Pro

The singer kept dancing as if nothing had happened.

During her surprise performance at the Super Bowl halftime show, Beyonce appeared to take a tumble.

But the singer, who burst on stage during Coldplay's performance, kept dancing as if nothing had happened.

Behind her glitzy performance, there was a political statement. Her routine supported the Black Lives Matter movement with a tribute to other black revolutionaries of the past.

Her dancers formed an "X,” honoring assassinated Black Muslim leader Malcolm X, and their outfits -- black leather and berets -- were inspired by the Black Panthers of the 1960s.

The routine and performance came after Beyonce released her controversial video for the song “Formation.”

As if to reinforce the message, backstage before the show, the dancers surrounded Beyoncé’s mom Tina Knowles and flashed the Black Power fist salute.

Tina told IE her daughter had pre-show jitters. She said the singer was "feeling really good. She has got her nerves going but that is a good sign."

"I am so proud," she added. "This is so great."

As for the big game itself, the Denver Broncos upset the favored Carolina Panthers, 24-10.
