Ronda Rousey Apologizes for Accidentally Sharing Photoshopped Picture

The MMA fighter assured fans she is "extremely proud of every inch" of her body.

Ronda Rousey has apologized after accidentally sharing an image of herself that had been Photoshopped to make her arm look slimmer.

The MMA fighter shared the photo, which was taken during her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, to her Instagram page on Thursday.

On Friday, she shared the original, unedited image with an apology.

"I have to make an apology to everyone," she wrote on the Instagram post. "I was sent a picture to share on social for Fallon that was altered without me knowing to make my arms look smaller.

 

"I won't say by who - I know it was done with severely misplaced positive intentions - but this goes against everything I believe and I am extremely proud of every inch of my body.

"And I can assure you all it will never happen again. I could not be more appalled and hope you all forgive me."

Rousey is currently one of the front cover models for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.
