Trump Says of Protester: 'I'd Like to Punch Him in the Face'

Donald Trump had some harsh words for a protester.

After a protester interrupted Donald Trump’s latest rally in Las Vegas, the GOP frontrunner said: “I’d like to punch him in the face, I’ll tell ya!”

As security escorted the protester out, Trump continued: "You know what they used to do to guys like that when they were in a place like this? They'd be carried out on a stretcher."

The comments came on the eve of Tuesday’s Republican caucuses in Nevada. Trump was discussing unfair trade practices when the protester began to interrupt and the Republican presidential hopeful described the protester as violent.

Trump hailed the police and security as they escorted the man out of the venue.

"I love our police, and ... honestly, I hate to see that. Here's a guy, throwing punches, nasty as hell, screaming at everything else when we're talking. The guards are very gentle with him. He's walking out, like big high-fives, smiling, laughing."
