Dad Brings Halloween to Plane So Daughter, 3, Can Go Trick-or-Treating at 35,000 Feet

Dressed up in a doughnut costume, 3-year-old Molly walked up and down the aisle asking for candy her dad handed to other passengers just minutes earlier.

Every little girl looks forward to trick-or-treating with her daddy — even if it's at more than 35,000 feet in the sky.

On a Virgin America flight from Boston to San Francisco Monday night, a father and daughter pair went trick-or-treating up and down the aisles to make up for spending Halloween night on the plane.

Stephanie Kahan, the passenger sitting just one row in front of the pair, told InsideEdition.com she witnessed the whole thing.

"It was so innocent, and so cute," Kahan said. "I have a 6-month-old daughter at home, so it pulled at the heart strings extra hard."

She said during the flight, which would not land until midnight, a doting father first went up and down the aisle handing out candy.

Attached was a note that read:

"My 3-year-old daughter, Molly, was bummed that she wouldn’t be able to go trick-or-treating this year due to this flight… so I decided to bring trick-or-treating to her. If you are willing, when my little donut comes down the aisle, please drop this in her basket. You’ll be making her Halloween! If you’re unwilling, no worries, just pass the treat back to me. Thanks so much!"

Kahan said, "I heard her mention she was so excited to trick-or-treat. I felt bad for her because when we land, it's going to be so late. As soon as I read the note, I started tearing up."

Then, she watched as the father and Molly, dressed in a doughnut costume, walked up and down the aisle to trick-or-treat.

She snapped a picture, and immediately uploaded it to Twitter while connected to the jet's Wi-Fi.

OMG, my heart is exploding right now. Dad of the year just passed out candy to everyone on the flight so his 3 year old could trick or treat pic.twitter.com/vfsAcYNrhr
