The audience that came to see Toni Byrd went from laughter to sheer terror as bullets were fired into the Sports in the City Lounge in Bloomfield.

“I was afraid for my life,” Byrd, of Brooklyn, New York, told Inside Edition. “All I know is, I heard gunshots and I just ran.”

Bloomfield police say 30 shots were fired into the club by gunmen on the street.
