Playing Teen Who Skipped School to See Bruce Springsteen Ends Up on Stage With Him

One Bruce Springsteen fan is no doubt pinching himself after performing with him in Australia.

Springsteen spotted 15-year-old Nathan Testa holding a sign saying he'd missed school and wanted to play with The Boss during his concert in Brisbane, Australia Thursday.

Testa held a sign that read: “Missed school. In the s*** now. Now can I play 'Growin' Up' with you?"

Incredibly, Springsteen invited him up and they played the tune together.

The “Dancing in the Dark” singer even coached the teen on how to pose like a rock star with their legs spread and guitars held high in the air.

Oddly enough, it wasn’t Testa’s first time on stage with the New Jersey icon.

In 2013, Springsteen invited him, then 11 years old, on stage to sing “Waitin’ on a Sunny Day.” During that concert, Testa was dressed up as his idol in a white T-shirt, blue jeans and red hat tucked into his back pocket, reminiscent of Springsteen’s attire on the Born in the U.S.A. album cover.
