A Texas family pulled from their overturned truck while raging floodwaters rushed into the vehicle are thanking the good Samaritans who came to their aid as video of the dramatic rescue has gone viral.

Phillip and Emily Ocheltree, who were trapped in the car with their children — a baby boy and a 2-year-old girl — told Inside Edition they had a special message to everyone who helped. 

"You have no idea how good it feels to know people where there to help," Emily said as her voice cracked with emotion. "They risked their lives to save my kids." 

Their truck went into the water as a monster tornado bore down on Myrtle Springs, Texas, outside Dallas on Sunday.

Good Samaritans rushed to help the family and heard that there were young children inside the car. The rescuers frantically try to rip open the doors.

The baby was rescued but wasn’t breathing. Moments later, his two-year-old sister is rescued, still strapped in her car seat. She was not breathing either.

The man shooting the video of the incident, Tom Mitchell, put his cell phone in his pocket and began administering CPR.

A woman was seen praying alongside him and seconds later she started breathing.

The parents of the two kids, told Inside Edition the kids are "doing great, obviously better than they were."

Addy, 2, was taken to the hospital, where she's now recovering at Children's Medical Center Dallas. Her baby brother, Marshall, was treated and released.

The video of ordinary people joining together to save a family has now gone viral, with more than 13 million views.
