The passenger demanded to know why he was being charged $300 for excess baggage when the same bag reportedly cost $125 on the flight coming in.

“You do not have my permission to videotape,” the employee said in cell phone video recorded by the irate customer.

The customer told her he took out his phone “because you guys have terrible customer service.”

It ended with the agent actually canceling his reservation and threatening to call the police.

“I need you to either A) call the cops because this will be confiscated or B) cancel the reservation,” the employee said.

“Go for it! Call the cops!” the customer yelled.

The ticket agent even videotaped him videotaping her.

It's the latest in a series of customer service-related controversies plaguing United in recent months.

"The video does not reflect the positive customer experience we strive to offer and for that we apologize," the airline said in a statement.
