Happy Birthday, Mr. President: Ivanka Trump Shares Throwback Photo of Father as He Turns 71

The president's birthday also happens to be Flag Day.

Wednesday marks Donald Trump's 71st birthday, his first since becoming president.

To celebrate the occasion, his daughter Ivanka, 35, shared a throwback photo of her and her dad when she was a little girl.

She called him an “incredible father” in her message, adding: “I hope that the year to come is your best yet!”

Trump’s oldest son, Donald Trump, Jr., 39, shared a photo of his children with their grandpa while wishing him a happy birthday.

Trump’s second son, Eric, 33, also posted a photo of him and his father when they opened a golf course in Scotland last year.

The first lady and his 23-year-old daughter, Tiffany, have not yet made a celebratory post on their respective social media accounts in honor of the president’s birthday. His 11-year-old son, Barron, does not have social media accounts.

Melania Trump did ask supporters to sign a birthday card for the president and make it a day her husband “will never forget.”

The president’s birthday also happens to be Flag Day in America.

Trump, who is the oldest person ever elected president, woke up to the news of a shooting in Alexandria, Va., as members of Congress were practicing for a bipartisan charity baseball game to take place Thursday.

Five people were injured, including Rep. Steve Scalise.

At around 11:30, the president held a press conference to announce that the shooting suspect, James T. Hodgkinson, 66, had died of his injuries.

It is unknown how the president will celebrate his birthday, but rumors have circulated that there could be a party at the White House to celebrate the occasion.
